Emergency First Aid at Work   Course Price: £60 pp

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (1981) require that an employer provides suitable arrangements for rendering First Aid to persons injured at work. Dependent upon the perceived risks associated with the business and the availability of qualified assistance, persons should be trained to either “designated” or “appointed” level.

The LIVES Appointed Person course is a one day course which covers the requirements for the ‘appointed person’ and consists of the following subjects and is valid for a period of three years:

� Basic Life Support

� Choking

� Recovery Position

� Basic wound / Haemorrhage care

� Shock

� Anaphylactic Shock

� Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

� Work related Accidents / Illness

� Accident Reporting
